The Vault follows the Fallout timeline in the events slowly after Fallout 2, in the location of San Francisco, California. The server follows canon events but will be set to emulate the time-frame transitioning into New Vegas. We are set in the time of 2253, right after the Chosen one has departed and left San Francisco to flourish.

After the Chosen One had left San Francisco in peace, the Shi had flourished in their empire, reconstructing the ruins that is San Francisco into their technological means. Now, without the Enclave or many other threats to keep wanderers from entering the city, many wastelanders have sought the city of the bay as a place of refuge and have long since integrated themselves into San Francisco. Any threats such as the Hubologists or the Enclave have long since been warded off by the strong reconstruction of technology as well as rising forces such as the NCR helping maintain the Bay City.

Many of the Enclave, after the explosion of the Oil Rig and history of President Dick Richardson being erased, have moved on. Many of whom were combated with the New California Republic or the Brotherhood of the Steel. Most of the Enclave members have either died, become captured by the NCR, moved over to the East, or have long since integrated with the NCR. The only squads that remain were possibly oblivious to the explosion of the main Enclave Oil Rig. Many still try to search for remnants of the master’s army or try to do what they can to get the rising power in the city in the name of the Enclave.

The Brotherhood of the Steel remain hidden to this day, in their establishment hidden nearby San Francisco. They have become much more exclusive due to the rising NCR patrolling close by the city. The Brotherhood spend their time trying to go out in search for technology and advancements the big city holds. Not much is known about this division of the Brotherhood, but they try to do what they can to keep things this way.

Bordering the city, a squad of the New California Republic patrol the city. They try to establish relations with people and try to civilize them. The NCR do not have much of a strong hold in Northern California, for they are slowly soon rising to power in the Mojave. The squad stationed by the bay are sent to occupy land as well as do what they can to spread the views of their President, Wendell Peterson.

What happens next is up to you, will you shape history? Or be one of the countless faceless people lost in the tides of change?
